Ferrarelle is the natural effervescent water par excellence, which in addition to its delicate taste to be enjoyed well at the table can also boast a unique combination of minerals that are good for the body.
The Ferrarelle plant is located on the property of the ancient Ferrara Abbey, which is also linked to the myth of the Caserta monk-feudalist Malgerio Sorel, near a field known as the field of monks, where according to a local legend the ghosts of praying monks appeared at dusk. Because of this it is said that workers employed on the night shift avoided, on their way out, stepping on the place inhabited by the albeit peaceful ghosts. From the name of the abbey comes the name Ferrarelle (small Ferrara).
