Ebro : “The Cathedral of Fishes”

“The Cathedral of Fishes” is located in the Ebro reservoir ,in the region of campoo-los valles (south of cantabria, Spain). The Ebro reservoir was made by the order of Francisco Franco in 1945 to provide better water supplies to the downriver towns and villages. The remains of 9 villages lie underneath the water of the reservoir, although some were relocated to shore level.
