The objects and equipment in the museum are still mostly in common use in Donnas today. Their origin is lost in time, the names in patois, often untranslatable, evoke a past in which the cultivation of vines was a widespread activity deeply rooted in the local culture. They are simple objects, but skilfully made by expert hands to perform, in the vineyard or in the cellar, the function assigned to them.
The Museum is located in the cellars of the "Anna Caterina Selve" kindergarten, built in honour of her mother by Commendatore Federico Selve for the benefit of the population of Donnas.
