Croda Marcòra is an imposing peak that with its vertical south wall dominates San Vito di Cadore, clearly detached from the wall coming from Punta di Sorapìs. It is the second highest peak of the group and can be easily combined with the ascent of the nearby Fópa di Matìa and Punta di Sorapìs. In spite of its impressiveness and verticality shown on the side of Val Boite, the summit can be climbed rather easily, but only after having passed the difficult access chimney in common with the normal route to Sorapìs.
