The ancient part of the city of Cosenza can be discovered with a suggestive walking tour that will see you through winding alleys full of very interesting views. Starting from Corso Telesio, a street that until the nineteenth century was known as the Street of Merchants and Goldsmiths, you can cross the Busento Valley and reach the Cathedral, also known as the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, of medieval times. Continuing even higher you reach Piazza XV Marzo, where you can take time to discover the Teatro Comunale dedicated to the famous pianist and composer Alfonso Rendano, the Library and the Villa Comunale.
