Copper Canyon is situated in Mexico’s legendary Sierra Madre Mountains and is home to the Tarahumara Indians, a cave-dwelling culture famed for their distance running prowess. Copper Canyon is composed of six, interconnected canyons that, when combined, are significantly larger than the Grand Canyon, and in some areas deeper as well.
