Consular Gate

The Consular Gate has been the main entrance to the village since the time of the Roman settlement; it is characterized by its three arches, surmounted by three statues from the Republican period from the site of the amphitheater. The gate is flanked by a medieval-era tower, whose peculiarity is that it has an olive tree at its top; the tree seems to be there as if to remind those entering what the main product of the area is.
