At the foot of the Aventine, in spring, the gates of one of Rome’s most romantic gardens open. In May, 1,100 species of roses bloom in a triumph of colors and scents that make even more precious a place that is already magical by nature and location. From here, in fact, you can enjoy a splendid view of the Circus Maximus and the Palatine, forgetting the city traffic. Attention, however, the rose garden for obvious reasons of flowering is open only during some spring months.
