The Church of Saints Severino and Sossio II is a jewel composed of 374 m² of frescoes (second half of the seventeenth century), rich wooden inlays (sixteenth century) and precious cosmatesque floors: the church of Saints Severino and Sossio was founded in the tenth century and retouched several times, enriching it with redundant decorations. The apse houses the altar by Cosimo Fanzago (1640), a sculptor and architect from Bergamo, while the dome, designed by Sigismondo Coccapani, was erected in 1561. The wooden walnut choir, designed in 1560 by Benvenuto Tortelli da Brescia, stands out against the monumental organ.
