Centerbe

Its production is widespread throughout Abruzzo and in particular is linked to the pretty village of Tocco da Casauria, where from the late 18th century, thanks to a passionate herbalist who perfected the recipe, artisanal production of the liqueur began. Centerba is made from the cold infusion of aromatic and medicinal herbs, which, freshly picked in the Majella mountains, arrive at the factory, where they are washed, left to dry and macerate in alcohol. After dilution and distillation, the liquor is emerald green in color with an intense aroma and high alcohol content, about 70°. It is an excellent corrective to coffee, chocolate, milk and can also be used in cooking and baking. The feature that makes Centerbe unique and inimitable is the bicentennial recipe kept secret by the family of producers.
