Cenote Esqueleto, also known as “Temple of Doom” is a tiny sinkhole that is not ideal for snorkelling due to it being quite dark. However, it has gained popularity due to the fact that it looks like a skull, with two small holes that resemble eyes and a big hole that resembles the mouth. While not ideal for snorkelling, it is quite an experience to go cavern diving here. If you are not a diver, this cenote is quite popular for those who enjoy jumping into the water as it is deep enough to do this into one of the openings.
