The Catuán is located off Boca Chica and sank on December 12, 2006. It lies in about 18 meters (60 feet) of water. The 33-meter (108-foot) tug is now a beautiful marine habitat of coral gardens and large schools of small tropical fish, making it an ideal place for experienced divers to explore.
Living in and around the wreck are nurse and reef sharks, turtles, and many fish such as snappers, angelfish, grunts, anemones, and groupers.
