Zwingenberg Castle, on the other hand, is now almost a pile of rubble. Its ruins are located on a wooded slope above Tesimo-Prissian. The castle dates back to 1200 and is located on the Gampenweg path. It is an elongated structure of which a tower, a gate and a small palace remain. In 1900 the entire castle was renovated and enlarged, but today it has fallen into ruin.
