The Giuseppe Garibaldi Memorial is organized in different exhibition areas located in the rooms obtained from the restoration of Fort Arbuticci. These four buildings are marked narratively according to a chronological path that goes from the youth of Garibaldi, a sailor from Nice fascinated by Mazzini’s ideas, to the last years in Caprera. The visitor can thus follow Garibaldi throughout his life and his human, political and military adventure, thanks to a rich illustrated graphics, multimedia environments, sound and visual suggestions and a rich selection of objects and documents.
