Only 50 minutes from Quimper airport and just 1 hour from Lorient airport, one of the most beautiful natural treasure in France awaits you.Forming a giant cross in the Iroise Sea, the Crozon peninsula is a concentration of Brittany. Its landscapes alternate between spectacular cliffs, moorland, turquoise waters and gentle beaches. The starting point for adventures is the pretty ports of Camaret or Morgat. Cliffs a few hundred metres high overhanging the sea, a view over the Bay of Douarnenez and the Morgat inlet… The panorama is astonishing. If the air is clear, you can see as far as the islands of Sein, Ouessant and Molène. To fully grasp the dimension of the place, you have to melt into the tonic smell of the sea spray. A coastal path between heath, moorland and maritime pines multiplies the viewpoints. To be discovered out of season or early in the morning when the place is still wild.
Hikers should not miss the tour of the Cap de la Chèvre. From Morgat to the Château de Dinan, a beautiful day’s hike takes you along marked coastal paths, returning across the heath. Don’t miss: the Saint-Hernot point, the splendid inlet of Porz-Creguen and the promontory overlooking the Palue beach. The GR34 trail passes the peaks of Grand Gouin, Toulinguet and others. The spectacle is constant. The Pen-Hir point with its 4 islets called "Tas de pois" is really exciting. With a sheer drop of 70 metres, it is breathtaking.
