Uncontaminated Nature

Canada | Dinosaur Provincial Park

This beautiful park is located in the heart of the desolate rocky expanses of Alberta, and contains fossils of over 35 species of dinosaurs dating back 75 million years. This makes the Dinosaur Provincial Park one of the most important fossil sites in the world for these ancient creatures that once walked the same land we live on today. The twisted rock peaks in the arid landscape make it hard to imagine an era when trees and flowers could live in the subtropical paradise that this area once was. The fossils and skeletons collected in this park are on display in over 30 major museums around the world.
