Burney Fall and The President Theodore Roosevelt

The 129-foot Burney Fall is famous for how President Theodore Roosevelt once described it – the “eighth wonder of the world.” A 1.3-mile trail circles the falls. The waterfall is on Burney Creek, within McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park, in Shasta County.
