The Brescello and Guareschi Museum was inaugurated on 21st June 2009. The new museum space has been designed to create a single exhibition circuit that meets the most varied needs and ways of visiting.
In addition to the exhibition hall on the ground floor, the first floor offers visitors a reconstruction of an original film set of Don Camillo and Peppone’s films, as well as an off-stage exhibition depicting the relationship between cinema and territory where the inhabitants of Brescello are protagonists.
On the top floor there is a tribute to the rural reality of the 50s and memories of the Great Flood of November 1951 accompanied by the typical boats of the Po and the tools of the boatmen.
