Bosa is an ancient village in the province of Oristano, in Sardinia and is characteristic for its colorful houses that from afar, create a truly evocative effect.
A few years ago, Bosa won second place as the most beautiful village in Italy after Gangi in Sicily, during the national competition launched by the TV show, Il Kilimangiaro.
Inhabited since the Phoenician era, Bosa had several dominations until the Roman colonization and is famous not only for its beautiful landscape that rises on the Temo, the only navigable Sardinian river, but also for the processing of fabrics, filet embroidery and woven baskets.
