The Borgia castle, or Borgia Sulpizi, or of Belvedere, or Villa Miralago, è situated on a wooded hill in the municipal area of Passignano sul Trasimeno, surrounded by a nine-hectare park with ancient trees. Today, after so many centuries of history, it appears in its splendor with its stone facades, tower, Renaissance arches, vaulted and coffered ceilings, large fireplaces and ancient parquet and terracotta floors. The castle then enjoys a wonderful view of Lake Trasimeno, which can also be contemplated from its swimming pool.
Designed by the owner himself, this pool è the ideal place for a charming aperitif or after-dinner drink. The palm square in front of the castle as well as its courtyard, on the other hand, represent a fabulous setting for al fresco dinners or lunches, as do the Red Room on the ground floor and the Borgia Room on the upper floor.
