The Piccolo Museo Didattico del Cinema comprises three rooms, each dedicated to a specific theme: the first room displays all the research dedicated to the "world of vision, from Chinese shadows to magic lanterns", the second room displays inventions dedicated to the "study of movement", from thaumatropium to praxinoscope; the third room is dedicated to the creation of the first photographic sequences and the birth of truth with the first projections by the Lumière brothers.
