The Perfume Museum of Barcelona was inaugurated in mid 1961 with the aim of showing the public the evolution of the bottles and bottles used for perfumes through history and geography. The Museum of Perfume of Barcelona is one of the lesser known museums of the city and this is due to the fact that it often goes unnoticed because it is located inside the perfumery Regia on Passeig de Gràcia. To visit the museum just ask one of the perfumery’s saleswomen who will kindly accompany you inside, at the back of the shop. Once inside the museum you will find a room not too big where more than 5.000 pieces are displayed, as well as catalogues, labels and advertising material from different periods.
