Museum of Arbreshe Culture
The traditional costume represents one of the most unique and interesting elements of the cultural heritage of this community. In order to preserve elements of the original Balkan culture, so that the community would not run the risk of disintegration, since the sixties the arb’resh’ populations of São Paulo and São Costantino have started socio-cultural initiatives such as folklore events, exhibitions, resumption of ceremonies, research on the original culture, historical events, linguistic structures and handicrafts, thus engaging in the creation of a museum of arb’resh’ traditions and popular culture.
