The Piadina Romagnola

Piadina romagnola, also called piada, is a flat bread without leavening typical of the gastronomic tradition of Romagna; made of flour, water, lard or extra virgin oil, which is cooked on a griddle or on a testo; perfect to be stuffed with cheese and cold cuts or to be used instead of bread! A unique goodness that has ancient origins in the Romagna countryside as a poor man's dish; today protected by the IPG and become a street food symbol of Italian cuisine in the world!
