The Folklore Museum

A visit to the Folklore Museum will be unforgettable: you will be transported to another era, among lace ball gowns, linen monogrammed by a noble family, antique furniture and precious silver services. The Folklore Museum is located on the ground floor of the Korgialenios Library; after the tour is over, you can in fact go up to the impressive library consisting of some 50,000 volumes.Here there is also a collection of Byzantine icons from the 16th and 18th centuries.The museum was founded in1966, in an area of 300 sq. m.
