The church on Calle San Pedro, east of Puerta Sevilla, is a large complex featuring a Baroque dome and bell tower that strongly resembles Seville's Giralda. The Iglesia de San Pedro was built in the fifteenth century and underwent numerous changes during the Baroque period. The tower was finished in 1783 and stands out over the city.
