The Parish Museum of Sacred Art of Ponte di Legno was born in 1980 from the renovation of the Parish House. The idea of establishing a Diocesan Museum is due to Msgr. Angelo Pietrobelli, in the second half of the 1970s, identifying the convent complex of St. Joseph as a suitable location to house the first nucleus of works from deconsecrated churches Starting in the 0'80s, the Museum was also invested in the recovery and preservation of works of art and materials of the Diocese, in addition to the organization of cultural and educational initiatives.
