Dubai Creek

Dubai Creek runs between Deira and Bur Dubai, in the old part of the city. Historically, it was the main driver for the establishment of Dubai: when maritime trade began in the region more than a century ago, the ports were built along its channel. Today it offers sea taxis - small boats that take visitors between the northeastern bank, which represents the ancient quarter and old Dubai, and between the southwestern bank, which contains the new and advanced city.
