Founded in the fourteenth century, the Carthusian monastery standing on the Vomero Hill and being a great viewpoint for Naples. Currently, its buildings are used by the National Museum. You can visit the Gothic church with baroque interior and illusionist polychromes, as well as the refectory and monastery cemetery. In other rooms of the monastery there are collections related to the Bourbon rule in Naples, including jewelry, handicrafts, paintings, carriages and weapons.
