Cava de Tirreni: the Dolphins Fountain

Walking along Corso Mazzini, you arrive in front of the big fountain of dolphins in the background of the sixteenth-century Cathedral of the city with its wide staircase. The artistic fountain of dolphins is the work of the sculptor Alfonso Balzico, born in Cava de' Tirreni in 1825 and very active at the court of the Savoys.
