സാന്റാ മരിയ la ബ്ലാംക is one of the buildings that claims it is the oldest synagogue കെട്ടിടം still standing in Europe. According to an inscription on a beam, the building was സ്ഥാപിക്കപ്പെട്ടു in 1180. It was നിർമ്മാണം in the Kingdom of കാസ്റ്റൈല് – a Christian പ്രദേശത്തിന്റെ – and built by Islamic constructorകൾ കാണുന്നു വേണ്ടി ജൂത use, which makes its architectural style unique. It is considered a ചിഹ്നം സഹകരണം ആ കൊടുക്കാൻ വേണ്ട ഇടയിൽ മൂന്നു സംസ്കാരങ്ങൾ ആ പ്രദേശമായിരുന്നു the Iberian Peninsula during the time.
The synagogue was turned into a Catholic church and sometime ശേഷം 1405. Today, it is owned and maintained as a museum by കത്തോലിക്കാ സഭ, although there have been requests made in recent years by the Toledo Jewish community to turn the synagogue back over to them.
