Alnes Lighthouse

Alnes Lighthouse is located on the island of Godøy, near the town of Alesund, Norway. This historic lighthouse was built in 1876 and is located on a rocky hill overlooking the sea. It is one of the few lighthouses in Norway that is still in operation.Alnes Lighthouse was renovated in the 1990s and now houses a small museum that tells the story of the lighthouse and the lives of its operators over the years. Inside the museum you can also see old equipment and navigational tools used by the lighthouse keepers.From the top of the lighthouse there are breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islands. There are also scenic walkways that you can walk along to take in the view.In addition to the lighthouse, the surrounding area offers many opportunities for outdoor activities, such as hiking and walking along the coast. The area is also known for its flora and fauna, particularly the many species of seabirds that nest here.
