Alesund Church is a major tourist attraction located in the city center of Alesund, Norway. It is a Lutheran church built in the art nouveau style, with an impressive facade and a 60-meter-high tower that can be seen from almost anywhere in the city.The church was built after the great fire of 1904, which destroyed much of the old town of Alesund. The organ was built by the German firm Steinmeyer Orgelbau and has more than 5,000 pipes, as well as a wide range of registers.The church is open to the public every day and is very popular with tourists and locals. There are also classical music concerts and other cultural events held inside the church throughout the year.
