The Alberobello Oil Museum was born as a tribute to a product that embodies some of the founding values of the Alberobello community, such as the culture of work, love for its territory and solidarity. In the museum there are exhibits of local farming civilization dating back to the nineteenth century and the early twentieth century, especially tools for pressing olives. A large part of the objects on display have been donated to the museum by the Alviti family of Germans.
