The AcdB Bicycle Museum, located in Palazzo Monferrato, tells, in an unpublished reconstruction, the role of the territory in the history of cycling, the bicycle industry and sports journalism. From Carlo Michel to Giovanni Maino, from Borsaline to Circolo velocipedisti, from the rivalry between the Tortonese Giovannni Cuniolo known as Manina and the Astigiano Giovanni Gerbi, the ‘Red Devil’, to the vicissitudes of the Girardengo and Coppi champions.
The permanent museum is flanked by the widespread cycling museum project, a territorial ecomuseum with itineraries through the places and history of cycling.
