The 516 Arouca is located in Arouca, Portugal, and is considered the largest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, with a length of 516 meters and a height of 175 meters. The record was previously held by the Charles Kuonen suspension bridge in Switzerland. This new engineering work is located in Portugal, overlooking the Paiva River, in the beautiful town of Arouca, renowned for its priceless natural heritage and home to a Geopark recognized by UNESCO in 2009.
